Biking Park City

We packed up the trailer with our bikes and headed up to Park City to ride around and see the fireworks at The Canyons.

Stopped for a treat at Cold Stone

Yes!! He is feeding our 2 month old ice cream. I fought him on the first three kids, but have now just given up.
No wonder why they all have sweet tooths.

We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was a beautiful day!

Now there are no more pictures of our adventures because our camera ran out of battery. A month or so ago I dropped my brand new camera and the LCD screen broke so I can't see anything of what I have taken or see if the battery needs to be charged. I took some pics with my camera phone, but can't figure how to get them off.

We ended up not staying for the fireworks at The Canyons. We headed down to Provo and got hotel there. The Freedom Festival was going on and there was lots to see and Los Hermanos was yummy. Then we went to 4th of July parade there in downtown Provo.

We biked around BYU's campus to look at how much had changed. Mike took some kids so the baby and I could take a nap at Kiwanis Park after lunch. I must have said a dozen times that I was so glad to be in Utah. The weather was beautiful.
We drove around PG and looked at our old house and the temple. We headed over to visit Jay and Ada and they fed us a yummy BBQ.

The girls and I went to Stadium of Fire featuring Jonas Bros and She Daisy. We screamed and screamed. Mike and the boys rode their bikes around and did some fireworks. The concert and fireworks were amazing. It was cloudy and cool when the concert began. During the opening prayer the man giving the invocation asked that the elements would cooperate so that we could celebrate our Nation's birth. As soon as he said that that big heavy cloud stopped moving over us and pretty much dissipated. Katelyn noticed what was going on and said,

"Mom look. Heavenly Father stopped that cloud. I am sure He wants to see the fireworks too. I am sure He can see the fireworks from heaven."

It was a spectacular show and 4th of July!

Hey, if you call the camera's customer care line you can probably buy a new LCD screen. We did the same thing when Betty was only a couple months old. It costs about $50 and is pretty easy to replace yourself, at least ours was. Check online for instructions.

Oh, and all your pictures make me miss beautiful Utah.
