Ty's Injury

On Tuesday, 3.29.11, after school Tyler was playing with a neighbor boy, Alex, and crashed on Katelyn's bike. He was pulling Alex in the Burley trailer and with the speed they picked up by starting at the top of the street Tyler jacknifed when he hit the drive way and ... CRASH...broken arm. OUCH!


XRAY: Both bones broken in his left forearm.


Very excited to get his cast. He chose black. He will have this full cast on for a little over a week. Then we go back in to have that one cut off and another xray. Hopefully, everything will look great and then he gets a shorter cast for the next haul.

St. Patty's Day

We always do breakfast for dinner! Green waffles, green eggs & ham, and a leprechaun peed in our milk and turned it green (according to Tyler).

Marriage: Is what brings us togever today!

Mike's brother Brent got married this past weekend. It was fun to get together and see lots of family. Here are some random pics I had on my camera.

The Blacks and the Houghs descended on our house this weekend and we are so glad they did. What a talented, hard workng bunch! The got all tile and hardwood down and Brent finisd sheetrocking the playroom in the basement. Kaye was a fantastic babysitter and took he boys all day and then went swimming with everyone. Thanks to Ronni and Lori for sharing our honies! Hope everyone recovered! Thanks a million!

Winter for the ducks

The ducks have done remarkably well this winter. They are like clock work with their routine. Rummage around the yard and the neighbors yards, down to the creek and pooping all the way.
They like the house Mike built them. The girls stopped laying and we found out they needed more "daylight". So an automatic timer fixed it all and they are back to laying again.

10th Birthday Par-teee!

Donuts in the morning. Her class sang to her at school and friends made her cards.


We had dinner and a Skittles cake and lots of fun presents.


Katelyn wanted to have a friends party so we took Mikayla and Jessica Ericksen bowling at Boondocks. It was a first bowl for most of our group. They did a great job!Pictures are stuck on my cell phone...oops

We love this monkey! Katelyn is always helping our family. She is good to play with everyone and everyone wants to play with her.
