JNB: One Month Old

Our little girl is now a month old! We love it when we can get her to smile. Most of her smiling happens when she is sleeping. And she still sleeps a lot! She is a great baby and only cries when she is hungry of Christian has squeezed her too hard!
Strong little thing too - has been holding her head up from birth.
Love these pictures because this is the view I have most of the time while holding her

Go Briggy!

The leading scorer for the T-Rex's!!!! Briggs has had two games and his team won bith games. In his first game, Briggy made all 4 goals for his team! Then in the 2nd games he made for of the five goals. We have a soccer player on our hands. He can dribble and is great at stealing the ball too.
Way to go Brigham!

JNB: Delivery

I had contractions coming good and about 5 minutes apart. We waited for Gma & Gpa Black to get to Bountiful. Mike and I headed to the hospital around 6pm on 3.23.11. Checked into the Labor and Delivery at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. Labor went well and prgressed a little bit faster than before. Epidural around 9pm. At 11:30pm was ready to delivery this little girl! She came at 12:02am on March 24th. Dad texted everyone to let her know she was with us safe and healthy!

Hoppy Easter!

Yes, it is 10:30 and yes, we have already been to two Easter Egg Hunts and have one more to go to at lunch.
We are egg hunting maniacs or candy maniacs!

The anticipation is the best!!! Centerville City Egg Hunt
It is all in the "strategery". Where to run to first? Stay close or go far? Any prizes? Money eggs?

Tyler thought the basket I brought for him was too small so he quickly revised and took one of my grocery bags I had in the van. Much bigger and mo' better!

Christian was too little last year. It was good to see some life in him this year. I just kept saying "Clean up, clean up" and he kept picking those eggs up.

Christian's Loot

Brigham did great as well.

Bountiful City Egg Hunt- Our first time
Notice: Christian's mouth is already full of candy as he waits to get more candy.

"Clean up, clean up"

In Bountiful, we saw the Easter Bunny. Katelyn was quick to investigate and whispered in my ear as to not ruin it for the boys. "Mom, the Easter Bunny is a girl".
Christian wasn't too interested.

JNB: First Bath

Love those sponge baths before their belly button falls of! We tried to get the bathroom nice and toasty so she wouldn't freeze. It is always a fast process, but she didn't seem to get to upset. The boys were fascinated to watch and Tyler was a great photographer.

Christian's 2nd Birthday

We started off the morning with singing "Happy Birthday to You" over and over again because it is C's favorite song to sing right now.
He got a cool flashlight from Gma&Gpa- Thank you!

Our home teacher brought him some candy that he devoured.

We went to IHOP for his birthdy dinner (and for mom).

At IHOP, we sang "Happy Birthday" again and they gave him some ice cream. He wanted to eat the whip cream with no spoon.

Came home and had cupcakes and lit lots of candles.

What do you give the 2 year old that has every toy already?
A new yellow ball!

We love having Christian in our family when he isn't naughty!
At 2 years old Christian loves...
his Dad, riding bikes, playing outside, feeding the ducks, throwing everything, jumping off the couch, standing on the table, playing at McDonalds, helping with laundry, eating sugar, to help his dad work, play with his brothers and sisters, have his back scratched to go to sleep, to read the picture story of Jesus coming to the Americas.
