The Happiest Place on Earth?

Disneyland... of course! We had a whirlwind of a trip, but it was awesome. Thanks to an awesome dad!

Found out Friday about the possibility. Left Saturday afternoon and spent the night with Brent and Lori.

2 moms and 10 kids all in one van!
Stopped in Barstow, CA for some ice cream at the McDonald's built out of old train cars.

We stayed in an awesome house that was about a 1/4 mile walk form the park entrance. It was perfect, had everything we needed and the pool was awesome!

Lots of toys, Wii, cable, board games and the kitchen came in very handy!

Monday we headed to Disneyland
bright and early!

Brigham: the Model

This year we are taking Talent/Interest pictures for our birthday pictures.(see blog main page) So we headed to Target for Briggy's bday pics and were planning on wrestling since that is his big thing right now. We had some poses and props ready and the photographer did a great job. He liked Brigs and his wrestling stuff he asked me for a picture release so he could include some of Briggy's pic collages in a catalogue they were making. Sure- what the heck! Brigs finds it kind of flattering so why not. Now you can stroll into the Centerville Target and see "Brigham- the Model" as he is now known in our house. when we lived in Florida and Brigham was about 2 years old I had a friend ask if Brigham could wear some Halloween costumes for a photo shoot she was doing for a Halloween Catalogue. Sure- why not?! Thanks to Grandma Hilma for the handsome white spot!

Go JAZZ!

The last time I went to a Jazz game the Jazz lost so bad and I felt like my attendance might be a curse. Mike was explaining to me in very, very simple terms his theory on why the Jazz are trying to loose so they can be higher in the draft. So I didn't feel so bad going to the Jazz vs. Milwaukee game with Mike when he scored front row tix.

It was a blast! We were so close and those guys are so big. I was fascinated to watch Gordon Hayward use his peripheral vision the whole game. He never seemed to focus on any one thing. the Jazz did end up winning.
