Trash or Treasure?

One man's trash is another man's treasure...
I don't know if anyone else has this daily "occurence" at their house. I throw the same thing away in the garbage can two or three times a day. Tyler's biggest thing lately is going through the junk mail in the trash can and keeping it after I have thrown it away. I have to throw things away from Katelyn while she is at school outside in the city can because she will find it in the house cans. (While she was at school today I threw out an 2 inch thick pile of junk mail and school papers she had hid in a drawer from me)Briggy likes to munch on the food scraps. Amy always takes a gander in the trash and questions my motives.

Will everyone just leave the garbage alone???!!!

Christmas Craft

I was in charge of doing this craft at our ward's Super Saturday for Relief Society.
You buy a glass block from Lowes and drill a hole in the side if it with a Diamond bit. Stuff in some Christmas lights and put a saying on the front and tie your favorite ribbon around it.
I love having mine sit on my counter to add some Christmas cheer to my kitchen!

Briggy's Birthday Cake

I just filled up my van for $25.00!!! With my Smith's gas rewards it was $1.47 a gallon. Whoo Hooo!!!!

Okay we are back online and I can take pictures of it!! New hard drive and new camera. When things settle down from Thanksgiving next week I will get back to journaling. Happy Turkey Day!!!

Camera Broken!

So sad! My camera decided to wig out on Halloween night. Will start to blog when I get it fixed or get a new one. Anyone have any recommendations if I have to get a new one?

Witch Hunt by Pony

We headed to Gardner Village to visit the Barnyard Buddies and were surprised when we found out a million other people had the same idea we did. Little stress when I had to park in a field, but pleasantly surprised when we discovered the many Halloween festivities and costume parade.








Briggy was asleep for most of the pony riding so we let him look at the ponies from a distance.

Snowbird 10.17-18.08

Customer Appreciation weekend at Snowbird!! If you bring a can of food to donate you get a free ride (Normally $12 per person) on the tram up the mountain. You know I am a sucker for free stuff. The leaves have turned and the weather this weekend was b-e-autiful! We had a great time and plan to go back every October to be appreciated as customers!! The kids were off on UEA so we went up early to play and swim!


We were on the top floor left side. Breathtaking views of the mountain.



Fall colors

Rode the tram to the top of the mountain called Hidden Peak or something like that. I can't figure how to get the pics off of my cell phone so more to come when I figure it all out.
