Tyler's T-ball Season

Tyler just finished up his first T-Ball season.
He did a great job and was a fast learner! Lots of home runs. He always hit home base twice before he batted. He loved playing the position of pitcher because that got the most action. Mike taught him how to get the other team out and he was good at it!
I think a little more baseball might be in the future

Hot July evenings!

Summer Projects

So we made a whole list of things we want to do this summer! This shoulder bag project was at the top of our list.
I guess a back pack is "not cool for school" anymore. All the girls have shoulder bags! So Katelyn has to go with the trend too.

Katelyn and I found a website that gave a great tutorial and we tweeked it a bit.

She picked put her fabric and away we went.

It was an easy project and now we are going crazy making Yo-yos for hair accessories and t-shirts!

July 4th Camping

For July 4th weekend The Allreds from our ward invited us to go camping with them just outside of Schofield, UT. The girls were down in Blanding so it was Mike and I and the boys. Perfect because the Allreds have three boys about the same age!

Breathless views and perfect weather. On top of the mountain!

Some four wheeling

It had been a long time since the boys had been in a tent! Christian's first time. They were very excited!

Headed into town to get some fishing supplies, but ran into the parade. Lots of candy and bouncy balls. I don't think anyone from Schofield will ever read my blog so I am gonna go ahead and say that this was the WORST parade ever!

Pudding is a staple while camping

Boys and fire! Like two peas in a pod!

Briggy spent many a time playing with his trucks in the dirt

And if Briggy wasn't in the dirt or the fire he was on the four wheeler whith his goggles on.

Christian and I took some walks to keep him out of the fire.

This picture is funny because he is slways trying to take off people's glasses!

Our view of the sunset coming home through Spanish Fork canyon.

We stopped by BYU to watch the Stadium of Fire firewoek show. It was awesome!

San Francisco Treat

It seems like all my blogging is backwards lately. Here we go farther back into June, but the journaling is done and that is what is important- right?

JUNE 19-23, 2010

Mike had a CLE in San Francisco and his parents were nice enough to take our brood for the weekend plus some more so I tagged along.

The Storys came to Visit

We were so glad to spend some time with Mike's sister, Kellie and her cute family.
We met them down in Salt Lake on June 18th and did the Temple Square thing.

Seth and Ty getting acquainted. This was the first time Kellie had seen any of our boys and we had never met Kels and Claire!

Kate and Wes getting acquianted

Checking out the view from Mike's office

After Temple Square we headed down to the Gateway's Children's Museum for some more fun.

The Brave Ones!! We stopped by the Olympic water fountains. The weather was so nice it was still a bit too chilly to play in the water with the cool wind blowing.

The wimps!!

Ended the night with a yummy dinner and Dave and Ronni's.
