California Adventure

Watch the smiles!

Trying some of Briggy's Jedi moves

We all wanted to go on Tower of Terror. This is a pic of these cute innocent boys before their ride. I think Adri was the only one that had ever been on it. A first time for everyone else!

Love Devri's face! (pink sweatshirt)
They are all on the front row!

Kade and Jess were very good and content to sit in the strollers and wait!

Tyler does this squeeze face thing when he is excited!
No line for this ride so we ate lunch and rode it over and over and over again!

I think This was my favorite "movie/story" ride. It was awesome! It was our first time.

That's how we roll!

Monsters Inc.
MIKE!!

Life size Elephant in Aladdin. It was an amazing production and I don't think the kids will ever forget how funny the Genie was!

Giving her the old elbow!!
The whole time we were at Disneyland we never saw a princess up close. I was kind of shocked. We saw them from afar in the parade, but Jessie was asleep during the parade. Jess was okay with it because she would rather see Woody, Jessie, Lightning McQueen and Mater! Do you think she has older brothers?

We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Cars Land!!!!
So cool to see the decorations and every little details they thought of. Amazing!

O' Christmas Tree of Tires

Wait for him to find the beat and then watch
Briggy getting jiggy!

Luigi's Flying Tires
Giant air hockey field

Jess calls Fillmore "Hey Man". She loved seeing his garage!

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree (better than the teacups)

Not sure if this new Cars ride moved ahead of Indiana Jones in my book, but I will say it was awesome! I wish we could have ridden 4 more times. Luckily, we made it on it just before closing. The FASTPASSES were all gone after about an hour of Cali Adv being open (10am). Crazy popular because it is awesome!  We split up into families and when we got off we traded with Adri and kids. As they were waiting in the Fastpass line someone fell into the track getting in or out of their car and the operator had to pull the Emergency Shutoff button. Long story short and after a lot of waiting, Adri and her kids were able to ride and we left the park about 1 hour after close.

Lego Store

Lately, the kids have been really into Legos. That is what the pretty much got from Santa this year so they were way excited when we spotted the Lego store as we were walking home through Downtown Disney. All except for  Mr C. who was passed out from a FUN, long day!

Disney Continued...

This post has taken me so long to do because I just love looking at all the pictures and get lost in them. The kids have different smiles on their faces. They have "anticipation smiles" as we wait in line...not sure of what is ahead of them. Trying to figure out if mom is telling the truth about the ride!
Wondering if they can be brave enough or if the ride is really worth the wait. They have those "awesome smiles" right after they have finished the rides. This smile is my personal favorite! Their hair is a little wind blown from going fast and their hearts are still beating fast! "Can we go again??!!"  "Giddy Smiles" are just manifestations of their pure joy. "Posed smiles" are when they wanted me to take a picture of them with something so they can remember it forever! Then you have the "sudden smile" when they are just looking around on the ride with awe. Taking in their new, awesome surroundings.

These smiles are why I love Disneyland so much!

Santa on the Jungle Cruise

Amy and Katelyn both had their iPads so I did have a lot of fun pictures to comb through.

JEDI Training!!! Brigham was chosen from the crowd to participate and he did a great job!

When all the bad guys came out Darth maul came right up to our kids in the audience and he was very scary with yellow contacts and all!

Face up with Darth Maul!  Brigs was a pro!

This is a kids favorite too. I don't know why because it is so dang bumby especially with Jessie driving me!
