Tyler- MP Allstars

After finishing 2nd place in the rec season Ty decided he wanted to keep playing baseball. He tried out and made the All Star team for Mueller Park. He started with one team and then finished with another. The 1st team had him pitch and play short. In one tournament he pitched 9 innings and did a great job.

 

 

On the 2nd team, he pitched a little, caught a little and played outfield. It was good practice and he made some friends.

 

Baseball Summer

Another great summer season of baseball! Brig played coach pitch and his team was undefeated. Brig played 3rd base most of the time, but I think his favorite was playing 1st base. He did a great job at batting and even got a homerun one game.

 

 

This year was Mr. C's first time playing Tball. he has been to many of games, but never actually played. He was so excited that he was FINALLY up to bat!!

 

Can you believe I don't have one picture of him playing?!!!! I feel so bad. He was a good ball player. His coach would pitch to him and C got three chances to hit the coach pitch and if he missed he got to hit off the tee. C could really hit out there! He would want a "HOMERUN" so bad that he would pass up the other players (looking at planes in the sky or eating their boogers) in front of him just so he could get to home plate before the other team got the ball in. It was great!

 

I think we will have some more ball players!

4 Wheeling by Mantua

 

For Memorial Day, we headed up to Mantua (pronounce it as you wish) with some good friends to explore the area. It was beautiful! Lots of other people had the same idea. we were hoping to get to the top of the mountain and look over into Ogden, but there was still too much snow.

The wildflowers in all of our trips this year have been amazing!

Tyler is a BEAR

Pretty proud of Tyler for receiving his BEAR!. He has been working hard to get things done. He is always good to go to scouts and help out his leaders. Way to go Ty!

Music Fills the Air

Katelyn had her Spring Band Concert at the end of school. it was fabulous. The kids had improved so much! Mr. King is an amazing teacher. My favorite was the patriotic arrangement at the end with all the bands together. Katelyn will keep playing the clarinet and then will play the guitar for Jazz band.
