Little Braves Wrestling

While the boys do this...

Jess does this....

B & C did wrestling this year.

Briggs learning how to bridge

Playing after practice

Chris was made for wrestling. He has always liked to go after his brothers and now he can put all that energy into a sport.

These little guys just love working with the high school wrestlers that coach them from the side of the mats and teach them during practices.

"Shoot Low"!

C & B watching Brig's next opponent.

"Shoot Low"!

This was a big guy and brig could never get him down, but he did win the match by getting the most points. Brig is a hefty 71lbs, but this kid was 101 lbs!

Overall success!!

B1 Ty's Basketball

Big T is the Starting Center again for his Bountiful Braves B1 team this fall! This season is a bit more difficult because the comp league they are in is for 5th graders and up. Tyler is in 4th grade, as is much of the team, and a couple of boys are in 3rd grade. They have played some really big 5th graders and been beaten bad, but are all the better for it.

This other Center was a good foot and a half taller than Ty.

Bad pic mom! He really is shooting at the glass back board.

Reflections 2014

The world would be a better place if...
Amy.. we stopped to enjoy the view more.

Tyler... leave animals habitats alone.

Katelyn...didn't take life so serious and laughed  more at ourselves.
Katelyn won 2nd place!!!

All kids will be going on to the district competition!

Happy 12th bday Amers!

She actually got to go into YW on her birthday! She requested Biscuits and Gravy for her birthday breakfast and later that Sunday we
celebrated with Gpa Black and ate cake and ice cream. She also went to the movies with her friends the day before to see Big Hero 6.

She got a new coat, ipad cover, art supplies and some cash.

Lots of Riding: there are tons of ATV trails all over Idaho and there is an ATV trail that used to be the old railroad into West Yellowstone. we followed that for most of one day and rode into W. Yellowstone. It was a beautiful ride! My favorite ride so far!

Happy Veteran's Day

Every November, our school does this wonderful "Wall of Honor" honoring all the veteran's of the families at our school. I have always loved to go down the wall and read captions and look at the old WWII pictures. The men are so young, handsome and brave! I finally got on the ball this year and put up a few pictures to honor the veteran's in our family.

Great Grandpa Denkers served in WWII Navy in the Pacific

Great Grandpa Hal served in WWII in the Navy Air Corps because before he was drafted he was a pilot that would test B52s for Ford Motor Company

Great Grandpa Buckley served in the Army's 378th Engineering Combat Battalion in the Korean War

Amy was a part of the Veteran's Day assembly as one of the Andrews Sisters singing
"Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B". Amy was great and I am sure she will remember Veteran's Day forever. Everyone loved their little dance/song number!

Thanking the veterans in attendance

this cute veteran was excited to tell the girls he had seen the real Andrews Sisters!
