Aladdin Jr

A Whole New World....
Brigham was part of the pre show. 2nd graders made kids
and sang "Let's go Fly a Kite" from Mary Poppins.
Peaceful Briggs did a great job!

Ty was a magnificent Townsperson. Many chorus scenes. Some big, fast words and Ty was fantastic.

Amy was a palace dancer. Many chorus scenes as well. this was her first dance performance since she had tap when she was 3 years old. I think she liked it. She also did a fabulous job.

There are so many children that participate in the school play that they have 2 casts.

This is Amy and Ty's purple cast.

"Come Unto Me"

"Come Unto Me" By: Jerry Anderson
My Aunt Sue saw this picture and bought one for all us girls. I just love it!
I guess the life size artwork is in a funeral home in St. George.

My Grandpa D passed away about 15 years ago just after I got married. I was looking through pictures to gather for the video my Aunt was going to be showing at the video. There were lots of pictures of us playing with grandpa, but I could only find a couple of pictures with Grandma in it. I was sad about this and then thought about how grandmas are in the background doing a lot of the work, making sure everyone is fed, happy, has a place to sleep, laundry, cleaning up after everyone, etc. My grandma was such a good grandma in this way. The sweet bishop that spoke at my grandma's funeral must have known my thoughts. He spoke to the fact that what a quiet disciple of Christ my grandmother had been. I really appreciated his remarks.

It was wonderful to go through my grandparent's house and recall memories. We had some great times! We were able to look through my grandma's special box. So neat! This lady was meticulous! Her church Seagull Book (compares to YW Personal Progress book) was awesome! She had a testimony from a very young age, was a hard worker and health and being active was very important to her. So glad I got to go through a few of her memories.

It was good to catch up with some cousins and family. I hadn't seen some in over 15 years.

It is always good to have FUN at a FUNeral!
