Spring Break: Balboa Park and USS Midway

Balboa park was so cool. Beautiful Gardens and architecture

It was great weather the whole trip. Perfect temps, but if there is water they will play!

Getting a little lunch downtown. These goofballs racing to see who can get the most shake.

USS Midway was probably my favorite thing. I think the whole family really enjoyed seeing it.

Bunking up

I think this kid has a military stint in his future. He was in heaven.

Drove by the temple on our way out of town. Just beautiful!

Spring Break: Sea World

It had been over 8 years since we have been to our beloved Sea World. We had season passes when we lived in Orlando and just LOVED it! We were excited to take the kids back! Last time we were a little younger and had less kids.

Dolphin Show was lame compared to what it used to be. Now they can't have people in the water with the animals, which I understand.

Kids loved the roller coasters

This amazing art was made out of trash collected from the ocean. Pretty creative!

Up in the needle to see all over San Diego

Brigham was most excited to see the sharks.

Jess was happy to take a pictures by herself. She didn't like it when I asked the rest of the family to join her.

Too short to ride

Giving Jess and Christian  a chance to ride some rides while the big kids do the roller coasters again.

SHAMUUU!

with a GoPro

Love this pic! The Sea Lion show has always been our favorite and it did not disappoint!

A little chilly but she still had to frolic in the water.

Lots of fun and animals! Good times!

Spring Break: San Diego

We overnighted in St. George with Grandma and Grandpa and then headed to San Diego. Visiting Old Towne & the Mormon Battalion was first on our list.

Wells Fargo had an impressive museum.

 Mormon Battalion Museum

Christian was chosen to join the battalion.

These changing, speaking, moving character pictures were amazing!

Panning for gold.
Went to lunch at a quaint Mexican Restaurant

the Miniature Train Museum was AWESOME!!!
So much work and detail! glad he would share his time and talents with others.
