Let's go Schwimming!

We are so lucky to have the nicest and most generous neaighbors ever. Every Wed. is our day to go swimming at their pool. We usually go over a couple times a week. The kids love it and it helps the little kiddo sleep real well at night! So mom loves it too!

Katelyn is always good to take Jessie on swims. Jessie loves the water and has been getting more and more daring. I find myself going back into swim teacher mode. As a former swim inst. I am proud to say my children have never touched a pair of arm floaties.

Christian was open to swim lessons about a week ago so we worked on some things and now he won't leave the shallow step. One of these days he will get tired of the beach area and will want to be with the big kids.

Train on the slide!
When Christian gets too cold he lays out on the warm deck. Jessie has caught on to his trick and mom joins in from time to time.

The cool thing is to go down the slide and be able to stop yourself right at the bottom.
Love those pudgy legs!
All our fishies!

We will miss you!!

We went up to see David and Ronni and kiddles before they headed to Vernal. Their house looked so good and so empty. It was bitter sweet!

Good luck in all your new adventures!
David putting some last things in the truck
Almost ready to go!

It was fun to live by you and we will all miss you tons!!

Boondocks: The Birthday Deal

At the beginning of the Summer the kids make a list of the things they want to do during their break from school and Boondocks is always on that list!

This is so me: If you sign up for their birthday club you get a free ALL DAY pass and $5 on a gift card. If you go on Tuesdays the ALL DAY pass is $7 cheaper. Well it just so happens that my birthday fell on a Tuesday this year so Boondocks was the place to go on my birthday!! A good deal is a great gift to me!!

First activity was bumper boats to cool us off. They had a blast shooting each other.
Jessie wanted to get in that water so bad! At one time she laid on the ground and tried to squeeze under the fence. She liked it when Tyler would float by and shoot at us.

This year was the first time we tried the racetrack. K, A and Ty were tall enough to drive on their own.

Way to keep it at 10 and 2 Kates!
K was really nervous at first. She was going really slow and had a lot of cars behind her that wanted to get around.
Briggy was to short to drive, but could be a rider with K. When they were all done I asked him if he wanted to go again and he said. "NO!! Katelyn was the most boringest driver! Everyone passed us!" Love that competitive drive that kids has. He did end up going again and she did drive faster.

I made all the kids go in the batting cages. This was one of my favorites!

It was really hot so we headed inside to play arcade games.

This game is right up Mr. C's alley. Oh the intensity!

One of B's favorites too. Gotta get those bad guys!
Some random kid was generous enough to let my kids jump on the Merry-go-Round that he was paying for. My kids were to stingy to "waste" their money on a "dumb" ride. Looks like they are enjoying themselves!

B& C could have played this for hours! and they almost did. Called Rollerball- kind of a mini bowling game. Just perfect for C.
And the best part! Feeding their ticket to the "ticket muncher".

Back outside for mini-golf! Surprisingly the boys didn't loose any balls. They took it seriously and did a good job.

JNB on the other hand was tired of being so hot and bored. She dove right into the water features at EVERY hole! It was close to 100 Degrees that day.
She was too much of a disturbance on the coarse so while the boys finished up I took her over to play in the sprinklers.
I had an awesome bday! Mike surprised me with a massage. My first in  34 years! K babysat for free! Walked around City Creek all by myself! and had yummy cake waiting for me when I came home. Thanks for a great bday from my wonderful family!

Briggy's 1st Lost Tooth

Brigham was at his friend's house jumping on a trampoline. I picked him up and he brought out his tooth in a baggy. Not sure if it was loose before, but it is out now anyway and he is excited to join the "ToothlessClub". It is a right of passage!

July Adventures

For the 4th of July, we headed down to Cabella's so Mike and Tyler could get outfitted for their big hunt in August. We dropped them off there and went shopping for school clothes. I have posted before about Jessie's love of hats. We were at Ross and she found this awesome hat.

I caught this pic of her entertaining herself in the mirror while we were trying to find some shoes.

There were so many fires in Utah and this was a pic of the one in Alpine. The kids were so sad when we came out of the store and it had gotten bigger.

Because of all the fires in the west and no moisture for a long time we were so excited to finally have a rainstorm! An answer to our prayers!
The boys were having fun floating boats down the gutter.

They were going so fast it was hard to get a good picture. So much fun!!
Brinlee was just enjoying being wet

It was fun to have Brinlee and Chandler over to play with us.
We are sure going to miss them! Chandler and Briggy are best buds- 2 peas in a pod!
