We had a wonderful family Christmas party with our ward. Yummy warm breakfast, story telling, killer game of Bingo in which Amy and Katelyn each won a prize (the same Bingo card won twice), gingerbread "creation" competition, sing-a-long songs and then the craziest Santa ever!
Don't get me wrong- my heart goes out to a guy that volunteers to dress up in an old, nasty, wool suit to have a bunch of bigs kids sit on him or little ones cry from fear. But this Santa was too much. When he first came out you could tell right away Santa had been popping too many Twinkies in his off season and his suit was stretched to the limit. Close up on suit with Ty on his lap.

but then... he proceeds to get everyone to join him in a dance around the gym "Come everyone and join Santa"!!! It was hillarious! A huge chain circle of kids and adults prancing around and singing with Santa. I stayed put right where I was sitting because I was not going to miss this spectacular for the world.
The merry ol' Saint Nicholas was huffin' and puffin' and decided it was time to get to business so he sits down. Santa is so out of breath so his "helper" announces that we will sing some more Christmas songs while Santa catches his breath "a little".
The kids line up and Amy is the 5th in line. She gets up there and they chat about her list, pose for some pics and then she comes and sees us when she is done. The first things she says is "Santa's lap was a little sweaty". HA!!!!

Amy make lots of observations about Santa

A beautiful rendition of a church...

and the evil ones who detroyed it!
