Brigham to Wheeler Farm

We joined Brigham's Preschool Class when they went an visited Wheeler Farm. We go at least a couple times a year and the kids just love it.

They have some antique tractors the kids like to play on.

There were some new babies: goslings, billy goats and sheep.

We took a hay ride around the property.

The Blacksmith demonstrated how to make a chain link.

A guy told us how they milk the cows and then the boys got to put their heads in the bars (forgot the technical term) to hold them while they get milked the old fashioned way- by hand.

m

Jess had a good time poking the rabbits. She was giddy with excitement!

We had a great time at the farm and then had a picnic at the park. A great day!

Funny Kids

Caught us another coon!

All tucked in! Found this girly one night in my bed when I came upstairs to go to bed.No one woke up during the transfer to their own beds.

In the morning you can often find Brigham laying on the back of the couch in the sun like a kitty cat warming himself up while he watched some toons.

Jessie loves hats- any hat! This time she captured one of Tyler's baseball hats. She carries it around and puts it on my head and then takes it off and puts it on hers. This will come in handy when we go swimming at the pool and she really needs to wear a hat. usually kids hat to wear hats for sun protection. We will keep out fingers crossed.

Playing some monkey game in the trees in the backyard. The kids always love the games that Katelyn comes up with.

Christian's 3rd Birthday

We were announcing Christian's birthday a week before it even arrived.
Easter was the Sunday before his birthday so we celebrated with The Denkers on Easter. He requested the big cake from Costco and it took us 2 weeks and some helpers to finish it off.

When the actual day finally came we made a big deal of it and sang him "Happy Birthday" all day. He got a green wiggle car and some playdoh. Birthday waffles for breakfast.

Temple Square in the Spring

We did our semi annual trip down to Temple Square to see the b-e-a-utiful grounds!
Photo shoot time too.

If there is water my kids are there!

Wants to get her hands on those lovely flowers. Maybe if she gets on her tip toes she can reach them.

The boys got a better picture than the girls. Jessie didn't want to have any part of this silly photo shoot.

Soo sad, but sooo cute!

Katelyn was busy being getting the best picture

Mike and Christian have a love / hate relationship. Just kidding- Mr. C is just always slap happy. He slaps you to show his affection. Mike gets slapped A LOT!

Love this guy

The temple was majestic

Amy is way too old to be in the stroller

We have to put our fingers in every water feature too.

The new City Creek mall. If you are in Salt Lake you need to see!

Sitting on the couches surrounding a huge gas fireplace.

It was a Sabbath well spent downtown.

Catch Up

Life is really busy... and it is really hard to find time to be all alone at the computer. Jessie has a sixth sense for when I am at the computer and the older kids think I am doing absolutely nothing but staring at a screen so why not interupt me. Thus I am trying to "ketchup" on all my blogging.

Lilly Marie and Amanda's baby Shower

Amanda and Robbie are just a few weeks away from welcoming Lily Marie to their family! We had a baby shower at Olive Garden on April 13th for them.

Happy Easters

The Easter Bunny was kind enough to hop by our house this year. We went to the annual Easter egg hunt put on by Centerville City. Lots of candy and Applebee's free kids meals!
Came home and dyed some Eggs for the big EB and watched HOP.
LOts of fun toys and yummy candy. EB left a ginormous egg this year with a note on it.
The Easter Bunny hid the eggs outside this year since it was such b-e-a-utiful weather. I don't blame her or him. Katelyn told me this year that she for sure knows it is a her. Now she can be the Easter Bunny's helper and help keep the spirit alive for the younger chillins.
P.S. The kids neglected to find two of the egss the Eb hid in the backyard and a neighbor boy found them on Tuesday when he came over to play with Brigham. He thought he was pretty special!
